Marbella is a well-known city of the Costa del Sol for its urban lifestyle with Spanish charm.

Also, Marbella enjoys of a great golf zone which is like a paradise for golf lovers. Various golf courses let tourists play golf having a great view to the sea or/and the mountains. Additionally, there are lots of other entertainments and pleasures activities as it is famous for its SPA centres, luxurious restaurants or lunge bars, beauty centres, etc.
The historic part of town, however, is the most cultural and fascinating part of the city. Situating on a nice bay it hosts lovely details of a typically Andalusian flavour. Traditionally white houses and orange trees decorate the streets in the old town and make it charming. The principal square is called la Plaza de Naranjos (the Square of Oranges) and it has an ideal setting for tasting local food or simply have a morning coffee beneath an orange tree! On the other hand, the beachside promenade – Paseo Marítimo – is a perfect place to spend a while in Marbella as stretching alongside the beach it provides you with a wonderful view.
After Puerto Banús was created, according to the style of Beverly Hills, many famous people came there to live or at least to stay which made Marbella a spot of fame, luxury and prestige. In those times it included such names as Juan Carlos (then Prince of Asturias), Prince Rainier of Monaco and his wife Grace Kelly, Aga Khan IV or Julio Iglesias. It remained today the prestigious place because of continuing visits of celebrities and famous people who buy there houses, come for their holidays or even settle down there.
