Activities for our students

We fully realize that not all learning takes place in the classroom and that a language course should not only consist of lessons. Therefore, our school offers a variety of exciting social activities for our students. CILE organizes meetings where you can practice your Spanish in a relaxed atmosphere and have the opportunity to talk with students from other countries. These visits to places of interest serve as an oportunity to practice the language in another context, an educational and cultural context different from that of the classes.

The responsable travel agency, offers different options to travel around the cities in the region of Andalucia that will allow the student to know a little more about Spain, the  people and the culture. Those trips usually take place on Saturdays. You will have the opportunity to know Cordoba, Granada, Seville, Ronda, Nerja, Frigiliana, Benagaldón, Gibraltar, and much more (it is possible to get to know a city every week). Each city has its particularity as the Alhambra of Granada, the Mezquita de Córdoba, Cathedral of Seville and the beautiful Spanish beaches.

Visit Málagas, theaters, cinemas, shows, restaurants and enjoy the cultural tours to get to know the history of the city of Malaga. Every week there are different types of visits: the bullring, Picasso Museum, Thyssen Museum, Malaga Wine Museum, Interactive Music Museum, Hammam Arab Baths, Aula del Mar Museum-Aquarium, Museum of the Glass, Pompidou Center, Center for Contemporary Art, Museum of Popular Arts and Customs, Heritage Museum, Cathedral, Gibralfaro Castle, Alcazaba Castle and much more. All visits are carried out with a tour guide.

Every Wednesday our students can participate in 2 hours of flamenco dance classes “sevillanas”. This activity is optional but is included in the course fees. “Sevillana” is a festive form of this type of dance. The teacher has years of experience and the classes have between 3 and 6 students.

In partnership with Malagawake we offer different water sports: banana boat, airstream, big sup, paddle surfing, paddle surf king and wakeboard.

The Spanish gastronomy has many varieties such as fish, tapas, paella, pintxo (a small bread with a portion of food (e.g. potatoes), ham serrano, gazpacho, salmorejo (a cold soup of vegetables) and more. In our culinary routes it is possible to experience some of this culture.
