GENERAL CONDITIONS


I. ENROLMENT

You may enrol online click here or by sending us an e-mail on: info@academiacile.com. The enrolment will be valid after it has been confirmed by the school.

II. PAYMENT OF FEES

After the confirmation of your enrolment you will have to send a deposit of 150€. The rest of the course and accommodation fees must be paid no later than three weeks before the course starts. Late bookings require immediate payments. In the confirmation letter CILE will indicate how to pay the fees due.

III. CANCELLATIONS

If the enrolment is cancelled more than three weeks before the course begins, only the deposit is forfeited. In case of later cancellation the students will receive a 75% refund of course fees, less the deposit and accommodation fees paid. Should a student withdraw before the end of the booked course, no refunds of any kind will be made.

IV. ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is booked from the day before course commencement until 12 p.m. on the day after the course ends. In the event of an early arrival or a late departure, accommodation – if available – will be charged pro-rata. No refunds will be made in case of late arrival or early departure.

The student is responsible for any damages to the apartment, appliances, furniture or other persons.

V. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

The school is closed on all public holidays as listed on the price list and website. Lessons missed due to public holidays will not be made up and no refund will be given. Exceptions are made for private lessons which will be made up in full. If there are more then 2 days missing due to a public holiday, during the whole Spanish course, maximum 1 day will be compensated. Please note that the school will also close for a period of Christmas. These dates vary from year to year and will be communicated at the the price list and website.

VI. INSURANCE

Students are not insured by CILE or the host family against illness, accident, theft or any loss of personal effects. We cannot accept responsibility for any accidents during the course, on excursions or group activities. We would advice students to obtain necessary information about medical insurance in their own country.

VII. VARIOUS

The maximum number of students in the course group is 8. Nevertheless, the school reserves the right to place, in exceptional cases and for a short time, a 9th person in the group. The minimum age of participants is 16 years, unless they are accompanied by an adult.
